It’s been a long time, but finally, the most chaotic night in professional wrestling is here. AEW Double or Nothing 2026 is ready to go down tonight, May 24th, live from Louis Armstrong Stadium! The card is absolutely out of this world with 9 massive main card matches, historic titles on the line, the prestigious Owen Hart tournament brackets, a 14-man Stadium Stampede, and two career-altering stipulations.
AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Rundown.
Before we jump into the main card breakdowns and our official AEW Double or Nothing 2026 predictions, make sure to smash that like button, subscribe to AEW TalkDown, and turn on notifications so you don’t miss our live post-show review right after the pay-per-view ends tonight!
Now, before the main show even kicks off, we have to talk about the Buy-In because the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley is officially ALL ELITE! He’s going to be joining Renee Paquette on the pre-show panel tonight. Having Foley in the building instantly sets a massive tone for the level of violence and drama we are going to see. The pre-show is packed, but once that clock hits 8 PM Eastern, it is time for the main card. Let’s get straight into it!
Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal: Athena vs. Mina Shirakawa
Kicking things off with the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinals. Athena and Mina Shirakawa have been tearing it up, but this tournament is all about earning that guaranteed world title shot at All In London. Athena has been dominant, carrying herself with that top-champion mentality for months. Meanwhile, Mina Shirakawa brings that international prestige and incredible crowd connection. They both want a shot at the top of the mountain in London, and it starts here.
This is going to be incredibly stiff and physical. Mina is going to push Athena to her absolute limits, but I think Athena’s ruthlessness gives her the edge. Consequently, expect a brutal finishing sequence where the champion’s instinct takes over.
Winner: Athena
Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal: Swerve Strickland vs. Bandido
Next up, a first-round clash in the Men’s Owen Hart Tournament. Swerve Strickland goes one-on-one with the returning, high-flying Bandido. Swerve Strickland is on a mission to get back to the AEW World Championship picture, and winning the Owen Hart Cup is his cleanest ticket to the main event of All In. Bandido is the ultimate underdog here, capable of pulling off a spectacular upset with his breathtaking aerial offense.
Bandido will get the crowd on their feet with some insane counters, but Swerve is in prime form right now. He’s too focused, too dangerous, and he’s not letting his London plans slip away. Therefore, Swerve will secure the victory after a highly competitive bout.
Winner: Swerve Strickland
Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal: Will Ospreay vs. Samoa Joe
This next one is a literal dream match hiding in the quarterfinal brackets. “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay versus “The King of Television” Samoa Joe. The disrespect between these two has been building on Dynamite. Joe thinks Ospreay is all flash and no substance, promising to physically break him. Ospreay, on the other hand, wants to prove that his speed, resilience, and high-impact style can chop down the biggest monster in AEW.
This is going to be a brutal, hard-hitting match-of-the-night contender. Joe is going to dominate the mid-match, but Ospreay’s conditioning and explosiveness will carry him through. Expect a Hidden Blade out of nowhere to end the spectacle.
Winner: Will Ospreay
AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly
Moving into our championship matches, we have the Continental Title on the line under No Time Limit rules. Jon Moxley defends against Kyle O’Reilly. Kyle O’Reilly has been on a legendary organic run, proving he belongs in the singles main event picture. But standing in his way is the gatekeeper of violence, Jon Moxley. Moxley demanded the “No Time Limit” stipulation because he doesn’t just want to win; he wants to exhaust O’Reilly and make him quit.
Pure, unadulterated wrestling and violence will define this clash. O’Reilly is going to target Moxley’s arms and legs with submissions, but Moxley thrives in deep waters. Moxley retains after a grueling battle that will leave both men bloodied.
Winner and STILL Continental Champion: Jon Moxley
AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita
This next one is a pure heavy-hitter clash for the International Championship. The Rainmaker vs. The Alpha. Kazuchika Okada has held the International Championship with an iron fist, treating it like the most prestigious prize in the company. But Konosuke Takeshita has been on an absolute tear, using his terrifying power and athleticism to destroy everyone in his path. This is a battle for supremacy over who truly rules the international landscape of AEW.
This match is going to be an absolute masterpiece. Expect near-falls that will make you jump out of your seat. Furthermore, I have a feeling Don Callis or some outside chaos might play a factor here, allowing the Rainmaker to barely escape with his belt.
Winner and STILL International Champion: Kazuchika Okada
14-Man Stadium Stampede Match
Folks, it is time for absolute car crash cinema. 14 men, two rings, and an entire stadium as their battleground. The Stadium Stampede. The factions in AEW have completely imploded into a giant war. The Elite and The Hurt Syndicate have formed an uneasy alliance of power alongside Chris Jericho. They face a massive coalition of hungry, violent stables: The Demand, The Don Callis Family, and Bullet Club Gold’s “The Dogs.” There is too much bad blood to cover here—this is about survival.
There will be people falling off structures, golf carts, and weapons galore. In a match this chaotic, look for the most cohesive unit to take advantage. I think Jack Perry or Kenny Omega secures the pin for their side after a spectacular, stadium-wide brawl.
Winners: The Elite, Hurt Syndicate, and Chris Jericho
AEW Women’s World Championship: Thekla (c) vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander
The ultimate prize in the women’s division is on the line, and the champion has her back completely against the wall. Thekla defends against Hikaru Shida, Jamie Hayter, and Kris Statlander in a 4-Way Match. Thekla has been a fierce, unpredictable champion, but tonight she faces three of the most decorated, dangerous former champions in AEW history. Shida brings the veteran instincts, Hayter brings the raw power and crowd backing, and Statlander is a powerhouse looking to reclaim her spot at the top. Thekla doesn’t even have to be pinned to lose her title.
The 4-way dynamic means nonstop action. I expect Statlander and Hayter to cancel each other out in a massive powerhouse brawl outside the ring, leaving Thekla to steal a crafty pin on Shida to retain.
Winner and STILL Women’s World Champion: Thekla
AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (c) vs. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage
We have reached the double main-event portion of the evening, and the stakes here are heartbreaking. FTR defends the Tag Team Titles against lifelong friends turned partners again, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, in an “I Quit” match. Copeland and Christian put aside their bitter rivalry to chase one final tag team run—the ultimate storybook ending to their legendary careers. But FTR is the gold standard of modern tag team wrestling. FTR told them that nostalgia isn’t enough to beat the best, forcing the stipulation: if the legends lose, they can never team up again.
This is going to be an emotional rollercoaster. We are going to see chairs, ladders, and pure psychological warfare. Christian and Copeland will fight like their lives depend on it, because creatively, this final run feels like it has one more chapter left. Ultimately, I think they force Cash or Dax to say the words.
Winners and NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage
Shifting the Landscape: Shocking Returns Looming Large
But hold on before we talk about the big one. A massive pay-per-view like this is never just about the matches announced on paper. The rumor mill is spinning out of control, and we have to address the giant shadows looming over this main event. We could very well see some massive, landscape-shifting returns tonight.
First, Wardlow. The powerhouse has been waiting in the wings, completely quiet, and there is a massive feeling he could make a violent re-entry tonight to make a statement. And what about Hangman Adam Page? With the world title picture reaching a boiling point, the dark cloud of the Hangman could easily return to exact his revenge and throw the entire main event into absolute chaos. Keep your eyes glued to the screen, because the landscape of AEW is going to look completely different by the time the television cameras go off.
AEW World Championship: Darby Allin (c) vs. MJF
And finally, the Main Event of the evening. Two pillars of AEW face off for the richest prize in the game, but with a massive, humiliating twist. Darby Allin defends the AEW World Championship against MJF in a Title vs. Hair match. Darby Allin is the heart and soul of AEW, carrying the World Championship with reckless abandon. MJF, the self-proclaimed generational talent, wants his throne back. But Darby laid down the ultimate dare: if MJF wants the shot, he has to put his hair on the line. MJF accepted out of pure arrogance, believing Darby could never beat him in the center of the ring. Tonight, inside Louis Armstrong Stadium, either Darby loses the gold, or MJF leaves Queens completely bald.
Expect an absolute classic. Darby is going to take terrifying risks, and MJF is going to use every dirty trick in the book. While everyone expects Darby to win and preserve the visual of a bald MJF, we are predicting the absolute shocker of the summer. MJF is too smart, too calculation-driven, and possesses too much leverage to let his head get shaved tonight. Whether it is an uncalled low blow, a hidden weapon, or massive outside interference, MJF is going to find a way to cheat the system, steal the championship, keep his hair, and shock the entire wrestling world!
Winner and NEW AEW World Champion: MJF
