Ricochet Shares Emotional Tribute to PAC on AEW Dynamite, Ricochet delivered one of the most emotional tributes to PAC during the September 30, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite. Reflecting on their years together, Ricochet remembered the time he and Ben lived together during their days in Dragon Gate and described PAC as more than a friend or colleague. For Ricochet, losing Ben felt like losing a brother.
Ricochet Remembers Living With Ben in Dragon Gate
Ricochet began his tribute by reflecting on how difficult it was to accept that they were even in this situation. He emphasized how easily people can assume they have more time with the people they love.
“Crazy that we’re even here. Because you always feel like you have more time, but you just gotta make sure you embrace and you enjoy and you live every moment of it,” Ricochet said.
He then recalled his time with Ben during their Dragon Gate days in Kobe, Japan. The two essentially lived together, staying in a small room with only enough space for a bunk bed.
“Dragon Gate can me and Ben basically stayed in the same room, just big enough for a bunk bed,” Ricochet recalled.
Ricochet described their simple living arrangement, with both of their bags left open around the room. They spent countless nights together there, including days when they had time off from wrestling.
“We spent nights and nights and sometimes days there when we had off days,” Ricochet said.
PAC Was Like a Big Brother to Ricochet
Those memories also revealed how deeply Ricochet looked up to Ben. He explained that PAC’s approach to life became an inspiration to him long before their careers reached the heights they eventually achieved.
“I always looked up to Ben, who he was, and like, how he wanted to live life. It really was, like, an inspiration,” Ricochet said.
Ricochet then described their relationship in a way that went beyond friendship. He said Ben became like a big brother to him, making his loss feel even more personal.
“It wasn’t supposed to be, like your pal, your big brother. It was supposed to be the big brother he was, that brother to me,” Ricochet said.
“And that’s what this feels like. It just feels like I lost a brother.”
That sentiment became one of the central themes of Ricochet’s tribute. His memories of Ben were not simply about their wrestling careers, but about the personal bond they developed while sharing some of the earliest stages of their lives in professional wrestling.
Ricochet Reflects on the Stories Everyone Has About Ben
Ricochet also spoke about what made Ben so special to the people who knew him. He pointed out that there are not many people in professional wrestling who can bring so many different people together through overwhelmingly positive memories.
“It’s always the people who we have great stories about, and everyone can kind of only get together and talk positively about,” Ricochet said.
He explained that Ben’s memories were consistently connected to humor, lighthearted moments, or inspiration.
“Anything he did was always gonna be something funny, something lighthearted, or having inspired someone, or something,” Ricochet said.
Ricochet acknowledged how painful the loss was while also finding something meaningful in seeing people across the wrestling world share their memories of Ben.
He mentioned stories coming from Japan, WWE, AEW, Mexico, England, and even the backyard wrestling scene where Ben’s career began. According to Ricochet, people who had never even met one another still had their own positive stories about him.
“There Will Literally Never Be Another One Like Him”
Ricochet’s tribute reached its most emotional point when he reflected on Ben’s legacy both inside and outside the ring.
“There will literally never be another one like him,” Ricochet said.
He praised Ben’s abilities as a wrestler while also emphasizing the person he was away from the ring.
“There will not be someone who is as good as he is in the ring, as good as he is out of the ring,” Ricochet said.
Despite the pain of losing someone he considered a brother, Ricochet ended his tribute with a message of hope. He said he believed their story was not finished.
“But I know this isn’t the last time we’ll see each other again. I know, you know, this story’s not over,” Ricochet said.
Ricochet then delivered his final message directly to Ben.
“But I love you, Ben. And I know all of us miss you so bad. Again, I love you, Ben.”
